AVIATION We recently obtained a large settlement in the crash of an
airplane for two women passengers who were seriously injured.
Liability was hotly contested by the defendants, however, we
prevailed by proving negligence in the packaging of one of the
airplanes carburetors. We proved that a piece of Styrofoam was
permitted to get inside the carburetor causing the engine to quit
and the plane to crash. PRODUCT LIABILITY CASES We have handled numerous other product liability cases including
circular saw accidents, toxic tort cases, crane rollovers and

NURSING HOME LIABILITY Working with another attorney we obtained a large settlement for a 94 year old lady who jumped out of the window of the long-term care facility where she resided. Although she was becoming increasingly paranoid, the nursing home took no precautions, to protect her. The nursing home defense was lack of knowledge and that she was trying to commit suicide. We proved that they violated various standards which govern nursing homes.
